Specializing in comprehensive care for your whole self.
Integrating medication management, functional medicine, and energy guided healing to offer a deeply rooted, well-rounded approach to mental wellness and physical health.
Every person’s path is unique—and healing requires more than just a prescription. True care is validating, collaborative, and honors the connection between mind, body, and spirit. When we learn to reconnect with ourselves and with others in meaningful ways, we begin to remember who we are.
This is where healing begins—
and where the journey toward your higher self unfolds.
what if your healing began with being truly seen?

Integrative Psychiatry Practitioner, Bio Energetic Healing Arts, Medical Intuitive
“My path has been shaped by years of unlearning, deep listening, and healing beyond the limits of conventional systems. Like many, I once followed the rules, checked the boxes, and still found myself anxious, disconnected, and searching for more.
What truly helped wasn’t a single solution—but a return to wholeness. Through a holistic lens, I learned to reconnect with myself, and now I help others do the same.
I believe healing is not about fixing what’s broken—it’s about remembering who you are beneath the noise. And I’m here to walk alongside you in that remembering.”

Integrative Psychiatry
This approach looks beyond symptom labels to understand why your nervous system and mind are struggling in the first place.
We explore root contributors such as inflammation, nutrient imbalances, hormonal shifts, stress physiology, trauma patterns, and environmental load using a combination of clinical history, functional labs when appropriate, and intuitive/energetic scanning to identify areas of dysregulation.
Medications are used thoughtfully—as supportive tools, not lifelong solutions or substitutes for deeper healing.
The aim is restoration of balance, agency, and long-term stability, not symptom suppression alone.
Depth Intensive Sessions
Depth Intensives are extended sessions for moments when surface-level care isn’t enough.
These sessions allow us to slow down and work at the level where patterns actually shift—examining nervous system responses, subconscious beliefs, emotional imprints, and internal conflicts that keep symptoms looping.
Intensives are often used at transition points: medication changes, burnout, identity shifts, or when progress has stalled despite doing “everything right.” This work is clarifying, stabilizing, and designed to help you reconnect with your own internal compass.
90 minute sessions- Self Pay Only
Weekly Integration Circles
Integration Circles offer structured group support focused on regulation, insight, and integration—without emotional overwhelm or group therapy dynamics.
Each circle follows a clear theme and guided process, combining nervous system tools, reflective practices, and shared language to help participants apply insight in real life.
Circles provide continuity and resonance, reducing isolation while reinforcing self-trust and embodied awareness. One consistent hour a week to ground, orient, and integrate what you’re learning about yourself.

Integrative psychiatry is a holistic approach to mental health that combines traditional psychiatric practices with complementary and alternative therapies. This method recognizes the interconnectedness of the mind, body, and spirit, aiming to address mental health issues from multiple angles.
In integrative psychiatry, clinicians often use medications and psychotherapy alongside nutrition, exercise, mindfulness, and other natural therapies. This approach allows for a more personalized treatment plan that considers the individual's unique background, lifestyle, and underlying health conditions.
Practitioners of integrative psychiatry focus on root causes of mental health symptoms rather than just addressing the symptoms themselves. They may assess factors such as trauma, stress, lifestyle choices, and biological elements to create a comprehensive treatment strategy. The goal is not only to alleviate symptoms but also to promote overall well-being and foster resilience.
Additionally, integrative psychiatry encourages patient engagement, empowering individuals to take an active role in their own healing process. By incorporating various modalities, patients may experience improved outcomes and a greater sense of control over their mental health journey.

Medication can play a crucial role in integrative health by alleviating symptoms and providing immediate relief, which can be particularly beneficial while addressing underlying core issues. It is essential to understand that the use of medication does not imply an anti-medicine stance. Instead, integrating medication with therapeutic approaches allows individuals to stabilize their condition, enabling them to engage more effectively in healing processes.
For many people, medications can help manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, PTSD, and other mental health issues. This management can create a window for healing, allowing individuals to explore deeper emotional and psychological challenges without the burden of overwhelming symptoms. By providing relief, medication can facilitate the capacity to engage in therapy, practice mindfulness, or explore other complementary healing modalities.
The goal of integrative health is not simply to mask symptoms but to understand and resolve the root causes of distress. While medications can be effective in the short term, they are often part of a broader healing strategy. Incorporating counseling, lifestyle changes, and alternative therapies can lead to more sustainable healing outcomes.
Ultimately, the journey toward mental wellness is multifaceted, and medication can be one of many tools in the broader toolkit for healing.

Energy work involves shifting the rhythm of your body to foster a state of flow. Drawing from the principles of traditional Ayurveda, it emphasizes the importance of energetic forces residing in the body's centers, known as chakras. By focusing on these centers, I assist in revealing the secrets held within your body, facilitating healing.
Life experiences and traumas often become stored in these energetic centers until consciously addressed and cleared. This storage can manifest as symptoms such as anxiety, panic, apathy, and fear. Through a variety of modalities, I will guide my clients in practical demonstrations, teaching them how to protect and regularly clear their energy. This ongoing practice not only promotes healing but also nurtures a balanced state, fostering a sense of well-being and tranquility.

At Higher Self Psychiatry, I believe mental health care should be accessible while honoring your individuality. To make care more affordable, I am in-network with a select few companies at this time, but am able to provide you with a superbill to support out of network claims. (Currently accepting Aetna, Cigna, and BCBS)
That said, it’s important to understand how insurance impacts your care:
A mental health diagnosis is usually required for insurance coverage, and this becomes part of your permanent medical record.
Insurance companies often determine what is “medically necessary,” which can limit session frequency or the types of services covered.
In some cases, insurers request session notes for audits, which may affect your level of privacy.
Even within these parameters, my goal is to create a space where you feel supported and empowered. I integrate evidence-based psychiatry with functional and holistic tools whenever possible, and we’ll collaborate to ensure your care feels aligned and respectful of your whole self.
If you prefer not to use insurance, self-pay options are always available for those who value greater privacy, flexibility, or want services outside insurance coverage.
